About Me - Sarah Leonard
Since Junior High, when my dad let me borrow his old 1963 Pentax SV, photography has had me hooked. Following an artistic path through High School and College, finally earning my Photography diploma from Algonquin College in 1999, I've always been drawn to the camera as my medium.<br />

I love nothing more than capturing the little moments- the look that passes between parent and child, the joy in the faces of little ones- that make each family unique. I would love to work with you to create beautiful images that your family will cherish for years to come.
Hi! I'm Sarah, photographer here at Closely Knit Photography.

I LOVE what I do. Seriously! I've had a thing for photography since I was a kid, first picking up a camera (my dad's old Pentax SV from 1963) in grade 7 for a spring photography class. We had access to a darkroom, and were given free reign to photograph whatever we wanted! I took photos of my friends playing on the swings, hanging upside down from the monkey bars, and just having fun. And I still love taking photos of people having fun!

Photography, for me, is the ideal way to capture the little things, the precious moments, the details you don't want to forget. The perfect little lips on your newborn, the way your toddler loves to be hung upside down, or your family just as you are right now, with EVERYONE in the picture! Remember yourself and your family as you are- loving, full of life, closely knit.
